![]() ![]() The very first time you visited 41 you could only take the 1-cube door, which leads back to 41, unlocking the water so you could grow the tree and then pick a branch. As an example of the branching, when I return to world 41 (23:45-25:30), there's 3 or 4 different doors with different amounts of cubes needed to open each one (and one with a water wheel), but any of them could be opened in any order, you pick which branch to take, all the cubes needed to unlock the "last" door are already available the first time you return to that room, from the tree that gets grown. You can also see at 17:44-17:53 I head to the mandala room and unlock being able to warp back to this hub room (world 41) by stepping into it, then later on at 33:10-33:30 I use it to warp back to 41, so it used to be an actual mechanic that had gameplay use.The room at 41:10-41:45 is one of my personal favorites out of the removed ones, really nice water room.I've got an old run-through here (obvious spoilers if they were to bring back any of these rooms, and spoilers for any current rooms that are the same/similar): Personally I'd love if they did a "hard mode" using something similar to the beta layout with all the branches and needing to use the mandala room for backtracking during the game rather than only unlocking it after finishing as an easter egg. One of the main reasons it was changed to be more in a linear style was that many playtesters got stuck or totally lost with all the branching paths and couldn't figure out how to make progress. So yeah, there's a ton of rooms that are "made" but unused. There were also 2 entirely separate rooms for each color of god cube rather than only 1, so you could choose which puzzle you wanted to do to get each color god cube and piece together a completely different route every play (or try to find the fastest combination). Once the installation is complete, you can now launch the game using the game’s shortcut on your desktop. There were a bunch of rooms made during the beta that got removed for the final release layout - it used to be a lot more branching - you had to think "between" rooms much more, such as learning how each room connects to each other so you could carry cubes from one specific room to another, backtrack a lot more and take different branches from various "hub" rooms.Run the game setup inside the extracted folder and install the game. ![]() ![]()
